  15. # Email 1: Resource Bullets Drafting Prompt
  16. Generates this quarter's three "newest products & resources" bullets for [[Email-Success-CheckIn-1-Full]] and returns the **complete email as Bitrix-ready HTML**.
  17. ## What this does
  18. The third "We'd love to" bullet in Email 1 shares a few new Meridian resources. Those three sub-bullets (`{{BULLET 1}}`, `{{BULLET 2}}`, `{{BULLET 3}}` in the template) change every quarter. Everything else in the email is approved, fixed copy.
  19. This prompt takes the quarter's links, writes the three bullets in Matt's voice from the actual pages, drops them into the template, and hands back the full email HTML ready to paste into Bitrix. (Older note name: "Bullet 3 options", same thing. "Bullet 3" = the third *We'd love to* item, which expands into these three sub-bullets.)
  20. > [!note] Portfolio copy
  21. > The Meridian URLs below use the reserved `.example` domain, so they will not resolve here. The method (fetch, source every claim, assemble) is the point of the note.
  22. ## How to run it each quarter
  23. 1. Update **This Quarter's Links** below (2–4 links; three is the norm).
  24. 2. Run this note in the quarterly-outreach project (or paste the whole thing to Claude).
  25. 3. Claude fetches each page, drafts the bullets, and assembles the full [[Email-Success-CheckIn-1-Full]] HTML.
  26. 4. Copy the HTML output into the Bitrix email body. Set the subject from the template. `{Client Name}` and the personalization line stay as merge/placeholder fields, filled per recipient at send.
  27. ---
  28. ## Your task (instructions to Claude)
  29. You are drafting the quarterly resource bullets for Meridian Display Co.'s Email 1 (Check-In) and assembling the full email as HTML.
  30. **For each link in This Quarter's Links:**
  31. - Fetch the page. Write the bullet *only* from what's actually on it.
  32. - Lead with the bold, linked page or product name, then a colon and one benefit-led sentence: what it does for the client, not just what it is.
  33. - Add 2–4 sub-bullets pulling concrete specifics from the page (features, sizes, options, savings, price drops). Pull real numbers where the page gives them.
  34. - Keep it scannable: one sentence plus a few short sub-bullets. Match the Examples below for length and rhythm.
  35. **Then assemble:** take the HTML from [[Email-Success-CheckIn-1-Full]], replace `{{BULLET 1}}` / `{{BULLET 2}}` / `{{BULLET 3}}` with your drafted bullets (as nested `<li>` items), and output the complete email HTML. Leave `{Client Name}` and the `{{PERSONALIZE...}}` line as placeholders; those are per-recipient, filled at send.
  36. ### Voice & rules
  37. - **Meridian brand voice:** professional, helpful, consultative. Sell the benefit, not the feature.
  38. - **Write like Matt, not like AI.** Use the `matt-guerra-email` skill as the voice reference.
  39. - **No AI tells.** No em dashes (use commas, parentheses, or two sentences). Never use *leverage, seamless, ensure, utilize, delve, elevate, robust,* or *navigate*. (Numeric en dashes in ranges like 10–15 or 201–500 are fine.)
  40. - **Everything sourced.** Don't fabricate a feature, spec, price, or claim. If a detail isn't on the page, leave it out, or mark `[TBD: ...]` if it's load-bearing and you can't confirm it. Verify each URL resolves before using it.
  41. - **Don't touch the approved copy.** Only fill the three bullets. The rest of the email is verbatim.
  42. ### Output format
  43. Each bullet, as it sits inside the template's nested `<ul>`:
  44. ```html
  45. <li style="margin-bottom:12px;"><a href="PAGE_URL"><strong>Page Name</strong></a>: one benefit-led sentence.
  46. <ul>
  47. <li style="margin-bottom:6px;">Concrete point from the page</li>
  48. <li style="margin-bottom:6px;">Concrete point from the page</li>
  49. </ul>
  50. </li>
  51. ```
  52. Then output the **full email**: the entire [[Email-Success-CheckIn-1-Full]] HTML with the three bullets dropped in, ready to paste straight into Bitrix.
