45. The 13 scaffold skips are the vault machinery: CLAUDE, HEARTBEAT and MEMORY files, the
46. root `00-Index.md`, the bare-date daily note, the `-done.md` note, templates, scratch,
47. run logs and session transcripts. Each vault kept exactly one explainer: README.md for
48. the root and garden-studio, `00-Index.md` for bike-restoration (no README there), and
49. `CLAUDE.md` for pottery-class (the only candidate). `_meta/decisions.md` stages although
50. other DECISIONS files would not: it is the one kept on purpose.
